Philanthropy

As a chapter, Alpha Omega Epsilon has been outstanding in all its efforts to participate in philanthropic activities. As a chapter, we maintained high attendance and engaged with our membership despite having to move events to a virtual format. This Spring 2021 semester alone we were able to hold fundraisers for organizations such as NAMI, AAPI, and B positive. Throughout this academic year we were able to collect over $2,000 for our fundraisers. We also held more informative events to highlight causes such as American Heart Month, Womens HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, and World Water Day. We went on to collaborate with another sorority, Sigma Iota Sigma and held a guest speaker from the Garden of Hope to speak to sisters concerning speaking up against interpersonal violence. To continue our service we wrote letters to Save the Children and engaged in an online game run by the World Food Programme to donate rice. Furthermore, this semester the IFSC held the first Wolfiethon in which various greek organizations were invited to raise funds and donate to the B positive foundation meant to aid children suffering from cancer and their families.
